A Bit About Me

Jim boasts an impressive 13-year tenure in the transportation industry, where he honed his skills across various key operations, including Warehouse Management, Dispatching, Delivery Coordination, Billing, Claims Handling, Customer Service, Sales, and Accounts Receivable. For the last nine years of his career in this field, he held significant supervisory and management roles, demonstrating his leadership capabilities and operational acumen.

In addition to his extensive experience in transportation, Jim served as the Operations Manager for both a record storage facility and a local moving and storage company for four years. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Currently, Jim holds the position of Child Hunger Director, where he passionately manages the PP4K Backpack program. During the 2023-2024 school year, the Food Bank made a profound impact across 12 counties, providing over 1,800 children with more than 57,000 bags of nutritious snack items. This invaluable program plays a crucial role in ensuring that children have access to food, helping to sustain them over weekends throughout the academic year.

Additionally, Jim supervises the Kids Café program, which made a remarkable contribution in 2023 by serving over 71,500 meals. With an impressive average of 6,300 meals per month, the program operates in seven after-school sites and two daycare centers, providing vital nourishment to children in need. Jim's commitment to combating child hunger underscores his dedication to making a difference in the lives of young people in the community.
