Senior Brown Bag
The Senior Brown Bag Program provides low-income seniors, age 60 years and over, with brown bags containing fresh produce, bakery products and other food items. It was first piloted at Midtown Manor in Wichita Falls and expanded in 2010 to include Chaparral Senior Activity Center in Vernon. The goal of the program is to enrich the diets of seniors while helping alleviate the strain on their limited income.
