Donate Food
Food donations are a mainstay of the Food Bank, their value accounting for 52 percent of our public support in 2009. You might think the couple of cans of food you donate during a food drive doesn't amount to much, but you'd be wrong. Your gift could sustain a senior who has been saving money by skipping meals. Or it could help a child whose developing brain and body desperately need nourishing. We always need and welcome the following items:
- canned meats
- canned tuna
- meat based soups
- staples
- peanut butter
- canned fruits and juice
- canned vegetables
- frozen foods
- dairy products
- fresh produce
